Yes... it's an iPhone app

The iPhone app store has, as most us are aware been a great place for niche and unnecessary, and sometimes helpful applications. One of these sometimes helpful apps is RunPee: a program which tells the user when it is the most opportune time to go to the toilet while watching a movie.

It hosts a library of thousands of movies, including up-to-date new releases, and basically provides you with information of the times of the biggest lulls, when there are fewest story points or pauses in the action. Anyone with a bladder as small as mine will find this extremely helpful, as now I don't go back in the cinema with my friends saying "oh you missed the best bit!" when going to the toilet during Semi-Pro.

It has also shown me a bit more of how the structure of most movies work; there is always a lull a bit after the middle when the character is down on his luck at the end of the second act.

  2. There are so many things that stop me from getting an IPhone, but there are so many things drawing me to it too. This is definitely one of them! Seriously cool.
