Users and even designers tend not to focus on sockets on the back of radios, they regard sockets as some things to be hidden or they do not even care about it. But as it is part of the product, we do need to consider about it. So this week, I simply looked at the back of the radio and observed some of sockets . I looked at the squeeze box touch WIFI radio, manufactured and designed by Logitech.
When I looked at the back of it, I easily figured out what functions were applied because of its' sockets. At the back, there are several of sockets. Obviously headphone jack is there to be functioning as radio. The wired network socket is also there, just in case of no wireless. In addition to these basic sockets, there are some things more. As it has 3.4" screen, it does have the socket for digital optics which allow to connect its' screen to another. Moreover USB Ethernet socket is helping to deliver the information.
I was looking at the back and sockets which we think that's not important as a matter of design, but by looking at these sockets on the back, I was able to see what the sockets were meant to be and the functions that are applied.

This is actually really handy. I've been so caught up with the exterior form of the radio that I've completely forgotten about the sockets. Thanks, this has helped heaps.
