The iBLIK RadioStation is an ultimate 'one-box' radio and iPod docking system made by Revo. It is capable of providing DAB and DAB+ digital radio reception, internet radio and traditional FM radio. With its WiFi and wired LAN connection, users can easily access to over 11,000 internet stations around the world. It features digital music streaming from PC or Mac and also an iPod dock that plays back and charges the iPod simultaneously. It has a large black LCD screen, 10 station presets and a compact remote control.
What stands out is the shape of the radio. Unlike many other rectangular/box-shaped radios out there, this radio is shaped like a trapezium. The control buttons and the iPod dock are on the top and the screen is on the front. This radio provides 23 buttons to control and browse through the internet radio channels. On the side, there is also a 3.5mm headphone connector that allows users to listen radio without disturbing others around.
Another detail that impresses me is the layout of the grill. The lines on the grill are randomly scattered. It has no regular pattern to it. It is different from a lot of round, dotted or lined grills. I think it's a bold and contemporary design.
With this all-in-one radio, I think Revo has done a pretty good job. It has brought the traditional and digital radios together and also features other functions. It has a distinctive shape. It has the unusual detail of the grill. It managed to fit 23 buttons on the radio without having an effect on the smooth design.
