An Old Radio

I chose to use my own radio for this weeks post, while I know this isn't exactly a modern digital radio nor is it a portable radio, I have always loved the design of its details or lack thereof. Its simplicity is what I find so brilliant. Its basically a large rectangular block of wood with a brushed metal front and a few buttons.

The tuning graphics are extremely easy to read and understand behind the recessed glass screens. These screens are perfectly complimented by the simple black border surrounding them. The tuning knob is also extremely easy to use, while it looks heavy and possibly a pain to tune with, it actually spins amazingly quickly, making finding your preferred radio station that much easier.
