Shoes

I think shoes have to be up there with the best consumer products ever. They are a huge part of design and fashion, making them an ever desirable and needy item for anyone. Shoes not only protect and support the feet, they are a way for people of all ages to express themselves or show off the latest trends and style.

Shoes have been around for more than 5500 years with the earliest signs dating back to 8000 bc in Oregon USA (sandals).

Interestingly. The majority of the worlds population do not wear shoes, as they cannot afford them.

    Thanks Tom, interesting post and quite thought provoking. I guess these are a category rather than a single product.

    Is there a shoe out there that is affordable for those without them?
