This Radio / CD Player by TDK has taken the detail of radio speakers to the next level.
TDK's NXT radio has used new speaker technology to create what looks like an invisible speaker. The way these speakers create sound is not by hiding the speakers in the back or behind another panal but by vibrating the entire transparent panel. TDK claims that this speaker will fill the room with sound, offering a broad sweet spot, and eliminating the 'beaming' often associated with conventional speakers. They have also added a mini subwoofer to produce the low-end bass, emitting all round pure acoustic clarity.
I don't think anyone had a design on Tuesday using this technology so maybe someone can use it as another way to hide those circle speakers.
