Beats by Dr. Dre

I'm quite a fan of accessories. And the Beats Solo HD is one of my favourite.
The name of the headphone says it all; it's HD so you can't go wrong with it. Sound quality is great, and the design is attractive.

Beats Solo HDs are the perfect light-weight headphone, adequate for active lifestyles. Lightweight soft on-ear cushioned headphones are perfect in any setting. They keep the noise out and the music in. Monster's compact tri-fold design makes it easy to store.

Actually you could get other headphones with specifications as good as those Beats and for a cheaper price. However, what makes the Beats Solo HD stand out is its 'cool' factor. Its shape is simple with very smooth contours just like its logo.  The headphones have a good combination of the glossy (red) and titanium-coated (black and grey at the ear piece) texture. Also, I believe the red strip at the ear piece keeps the design very balanced.

They feature an attention-grabbing, red high gloss finish. Those headphones are produced in many colors, but those specifically made in red are to support the RED association (which is designed to help eliminate AIDS) as  Monster gives a portion of the proceeds directly to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS in Africa.

How awesome are those headphones? You buy them, you feel good (as they are comfy and deliver great sound), you look good (as they are cool), and you're doing something good by helping RED.

  1. Yeah I agree with you there, they are some awesome looking headphones. Love the gloss finish and how simple the overall form is.
are they wireless? or the wires just not shown in those pics?

  2. This is a great design! I think its great that they've sleeked down the typical chunky, black headphones which seem to overcompensate with padding in the hope that it might cancel out more noise.

Same question though...wireless? I think in this day and age, wireless is definately an advantage, especially with the amount of transport these would be subject to.

  3. These are such an amazing design and I really wish I could afford a pair. I like how they are such a simple, polished design whilst simultaneously being so bold and eye catching.

I don't believe they are wireless cause they don't come with a dock to charge the headphones so the power supply must come through the cord.

  4. Unfortunately they aren't wireless.
And yes I forgot to mention that they are a bit pricey. And the reviews also say that it's quite fragile. Matter of fact, my friend had one of those older models of beats and it broke after roughly 3 months. Well, hopefully that company will invest more in making their designs more durable.

  5. i have seen a lot wireless headphones and even with mic. it is possible now and it doesn't need to be expensive. around AU$40 or less.

i agree, it is a awesome design, but i am just thinking, would that be bit awkward if u actually wear one of that. The ears is grow on both side of the head, i think this headphones would leave a quite obvious gap between the head and the headphone, wouldn't it?
consequently, it makes ur head look wider..
